Good idea to get this thread goin! I got that cheaper diffuser in the OP and it works well enough for me. I ordered the FT holster linked in post #1 already, before seeing this, and will order the FT head band. Thanx! I've been using a couple of holsters for the X6, but they don't fit well - would not recommend now.
I think what chops is showing is the higher qual IOS one. I got one - will try it out.
I think you need a second light on other side as a counterweight.
I also tried the cheap headband, not recommended for headbanging because it swings a bit. I removed the clip to fit it easier.
I don’t have one of the nitecore headbands, are these a lot better?
I tried the starry light holster and it fits.
I own a few headbands. Most came as add ons to a light. Most are not good.
Nitecore HB02 i bought seperat and it is worth to spend on.
No bouncing, good fit and kinda cheap ( ~ 8 Bucks)
Good for sport activitys ect.
edit: just testet my X6 on the headband, it fits, but i have to admit, the X6 is not the perfect light for headband use due to its big head!
Nothing wrong with a big head.
You just need the proper balance. 
I am a cheapskate looking for a diffuser! Patience is also lacking so not ordering from China! Ideas welcome! Maybe go hunting at the supermarket for stuff with 40 mm plastic lids
Try Wax paper, it worked wonders on a Headlamp for me.

I’ve got a Nite Ize head band that works well for me with a X6.
With its specs, I think this Maxtoch Holster is also suitable (if not more suitable) for the XinTD X3.
I’m looking for a deep pocket clip.

0 cent diffuser found. Int-Outdoor film canister. Don’t know if someone posted this allready but anyways.
FastTech had an alleged ‘Sunwayman’ holster of which I bought 3 for Swm V25C’s. The X6 fits, but the head taper sits too snugly into the neck, leaving a small gap between the base of the light and the bottom of the holster. 3 pics attached below.
IIRC there were a couple of sizes, the three I ordered were sized as large. (Just checked my orders and found it https://www.fasttech.com/p/1343200). Personally I wouldnt use it, the head sticks out ever so slightly, the shoulder will rub over time and might eventually shift the anno. I guess if the slightly proud head doesnt matter to you, it wouldnt me if its all that was off, it might be possible to stretch the sides to accept the taper of the head… Id worry it will just pop or stretch the stitching though.
I’ve bought “Solarforce FH-1 Medium pouch for L2 series and Surefire 6P G2” for mine. They fit quite well and have a decent quality. Although, the ones I’ve got from the eBay seller have no SF logo:

Maybe these were recommended before, I think I read something somewhere. The decent quality should justify the higher price.
