bluetooth flashlight!

Sweet looking new light from FT. Programmable Bluetooth, very cool!!!

who’s going to be the first to test it out??

interesting!

Hard to believe it would not also work with Gingerbread 2.3 or higher, which I had to revert back to when tethering would not work properly with any ICS or JB ROMs. It would be nice if you could also turn it on via BT. For example if you had some IP cameras around you house, yard, garage, etc., you could login to them with your Android IP Cam app and then turn this light on, and then off again via BT.

Hello. Could someone in the know please tell me who is not, how this light will work. Is it programmed from the computer? I have a Mac but I think it is not Mac compatible? I have a tablet running Android 4.0 If I purchase this light, will my tablet be able to program it? I really am not interested in buying the light and then finding out I can’t do anything with it.

How long is the shipping from this company to the USA?

appreciate all replies, thanks…

patrick

Your Android tablet will work (4.0 or higher) and the light will begin shipping toward the end of the month.

Foy

Hi Foy, make that 4.0 or higher. 8)

I thought I wrote a 4. Yes, that is correct.

This is really quite an innovation for an off the shelf flashlight!
Small Sun ZY-T08/UltraFire UF-T60 clone upgraded to an XML-2 with HA-II, and costs less than the UF-T60

I’ve been seriously considering getting the ZY-T08 now this is really calling my name instead. My laptop doesn’t have Bluetooth though, maybe I could program it with my smart phone? (Android version 2.3.5)
The description says: “Android 3.0 Honeycomb or higher”

Gotta go check what version of android my tablet has.

Wish their website had some more information about exactly what mode settings can be programmed

What is asguards? (“upload a profile to your Asgards in seconds”) I guess that’s the name of the app?

EDIT: just found This thread
EDIT: just found the Vote for coupon thread Guess I just missed the chance for the coupon, :frowning: I gotta pay more attention here

Hi Guys

I may be pointing out the bleedin' obvious but there is already a healthy thread on this light here. Fasttech staff have participated with answers to some of the questions.

(in case anyone didn't already see it)

edit: Sorry beam0, just realised that's the thread you linked to above

.

I thought I remembered seeing 3.0 somewhere. Just reviewing FastTech's specs and it does indeed say 3.0.
