Probably would be wise to remove them first. All the wire I have says 200°C and 205°C...so around 400F. I think I'd worry more about toasting some chips and would look up reflow specs for at least a couple. Just a thought for a last ditch rescue effort. Or maybe jab each one with a soldering iron, which would be a much safer reflow. I'm going to try to diagnose my dead Lumintop driver but I may end up trying this just to see what happens. It's really curious how the battery power wouldn't make the light run but it could still function via the charging power/port. Mine did the same, but it's an XHP35 12v boost driver.
