I bought mine as "host only" and modded with IO ramping 4A driver + 3C NW emitter. Great success. :)
cnqg also does a series battery carrier, I used the host and a chi x heat sink/3up board and dry driver to build the lumen grenade. Its a great host.
lol i did not expect that at all. i was picturing something with a big head. then i see this huge worm type thing.
my friends already thought my blf a8 was funny looking, i should get this just for laughs hahah.
but personally , i like tube style lights hahah. i like the way it feels in my hands. um. yea
tell us more about this lumen grenade. it just makes me want one more now that two member already have used this as a host or modded.

the beat me too it, it uses optics so its all smooth lovely flood, I’m going to update mine with a 3up xm-l2 board from cutter later on in the year, its also narrow enough to slip into the screwdriver pocket of my work pants so I have edc’d a 3000 ish lumen tube light lol

mail ric, see if he’ll swap the parallel carrier for a series. or rewire the parallel carrier in series, or buy the series carrier for $8 iirc.
blueballz, I does get hot, here’s my rather unscientific thread on the light.
it does have four modes though so heat need not be an issue.
