Hi Juhi81,

Apart from flat output, what are your other priorities for a good flashlight? If you already have a good working $13.00 5-mode Akoray K-106, you probably don't need the Trustfire F20, which is practically identical. However I would NOT cancel that $19.00 3-mode K-106 from KD, it's a very high quality light with good regulation and great runtime. The Uniquefire AA-S1 is a pocket rocket, so the output is flat enough but only during a rather short period of less than two hours.

I agree, the 3 mode programmable K-106 from KD is my main flashlight. I love it. I use it mainly with 14500 all the time and switch back and forth with nimh no problems. I also have the Trustfire F20 from Lightake that works fine with 14500 or nimh also, DX version usually blew on 14500. The F20 is brighter than the K-106 on nimh but both are the same brightness on 14500. The F20 gets alot warmer than the K-106 on 14500 though. I dont know if that means its wicking away the heat better or its just driven harder than the K-106, but again to me they are the same brightness. The K-106 has a much higher quality feel and look than the F20, definitely made much better.
