This will blow away a stl-v6
This is a thrower stock and with a simple mod it’s unreal. If you do the math you will see that it’s about reflector size and brightness of the led for it’s size. If you remove the LED and put in it’s place a de-domed XM-L2 it will blow away just about everything out there. You also have to take a small round file to the reflector and make it a little larger so all the light gets in the reflector for a perfect focus. This is an easy to do mod with no driver swap needed. Two wires to solder and that is it for electronics. The de-dome in gasoline seems to work every time. At lease I haven’t had it fail me yet.
I use mine with only two 18650’s and it’s just as bright as with three.
