totilde, did you or anyone else notice that that amazon seller is showing a picture of a Efest IMR10440 V2 button top, i didn’t even know the V2 existed.

We have to get one to HKJ to get tested, the V1 has been out for a couple of years now, i really wonder whats is different maybe only the button but i hope for more POWAH :bigsmile:

I didnt notice the v2, only the button top (I posted it because of the button). Maybe this Italian shop is clearing stock of the v1, and it explains the low price?

I don’t think so, i bought the fstoplights Efest 10440 order in October last year, and then they haven’t implemented the genuine check code stickers so these are at least produced the last couple of months, although it could be fstoplights stock that was old also but the slovenian webshop stock is at least newer than that.

And i just now checked the latest Efest wholesale pdf prices list i got some weeks ago, and there i can only find the normal flat top 10440 V1……….it is all very strange

With efest, v2 just means button top not version 2.

Thanks that clears it up a bit, but it is still curious why they don’t list them in there wholesale pdf…….

And i am pretty sure i have seen V1 and V2 batteries with performance differences in HKJ’S small battery comparator, check out the differences between Efest IMR18350 V1 & V2, as far as i know a button adds resistance, but the button having V2 is beating the flat top version………

Go for an EFEST if you live in the States Was in the same dilemma while I was looking for a decent 10440 for mya Tank007 E09, I wanted to buy an EFEST but here in Europe are almost impossible to find, and when you find them you will pay like 3 times what they are priced in U.S.A and with the shipping cost you will easily reach like the 10€ range (which was something like 12-13 U.S. dollars that time). Efest do not sell directly from their site anymore, so here in Europe looking for Efest it’s like hunting for witches. Now I was looking for a nice 26650 battery always from them, and that’s the same old story, so…I always end in buying something else I’m very disappointed from Efest company Back in topic, in the 10440 range you have not that much choices, after days of damnation I ended with an ugly Trustfire Gray Protected from fasttech…I’m always asking myself if my little Tank would have produced more light with an IMR10440 but… All the hassle was not worth my time anymore.

I have some great news for you Europeans I just today got 2 Efest IMR10440 for €5,18 from svapoweb.it including shipping to Sweden

That is crazy cheap it was so cheap i thought it was a mistake, but they came quick and they cost half of what i payed last time i ordered the Efest 10440 from fstoplights.

And they are genuine Efest, i found the seller on Efest webpage.

@ Halo… I’ve sent an email through his site to Richard at Mtn Electronics like 3 weeks ago because I wanted to buy a SUpfire M6 Mod2 and few batteries from him and never got a reply, maybe should have written a PM here on the forum, since he seems very active here

svapoweb must have lowered A LOT their prices, as I’ve checked it too many times
Interestingly the shipping inside italy costs much more than what you have paid to get them delivered in EU. funny thing

Button tops have slightly more resistance and in high drain , low IR cells , that makes a measurable difference.
I found the All batteries french site , and they have V2 button top 10440s in stock here , but France , Belgium and Luxembourg only.Best delivery price is €4 under €10 , free above to point relay(newsagent etc).I also found All batteries UK , same prices as France except in £ at £1=€1 :Sp
I believe the e-fest 2.5Ah purple is an LG HE2 from HKJ and AccuDB’s graphs , plus I do not believe E-fest could compete at the high drain leading edge with LG , Samsung(25R) and Sony(VTC5).They do have the purple and the green 26650s in stock , now which did Mitko say was best?

I first had in my cart just one cell, and shipping was 8€, took another battery and shipping went free, I suppose they have a limit (very low one)

I’ve tested with a 9 euros order to Norway I got free shipping, with a 40€ order to Italy (the shop is italian) I always got charged with 4.90€ :*

anyway, I’m glad all of others EU people will have the option to buy good Efest batteries at good prices like americans do.
