I actually got the C3 from Lazerpoint last time for $5bucks I think I was the only one that got the light. It was real flaky even after a thorough disassemble cleaning and lubing it was a 5 mode with no memory. The nice thing about it ended up being a strobe deleted pill from a S-A2 fit it perfect so I actually use it now.
They sure did. Since this place is filled with spammers from different shops.
Also, got the refund message... at least that is better than UV lights. ;-)

I got the e-mail as well. But when I placed the order, I opted for the 1-cent item: clear PSP screen protectors. So I got a notice just now that they are shipping my screen protectors for 1 cent. I guess I'll get a refund for the flashlight. This is after laserpoint gave me the junk light for free. I feel sorry for these guys.

Actually spammers are not allowed. :) We all work together to eliminate spam as fast as it comes in. Unavoidable on a high traffic forum.
The UV that came last time with lazerpoint are absolutely uselless. Even oring-s are bad.
i wracked my brain trying to figure out how to make it work ...maybe match can come up with a creative mod for it ,,, the heads too short since it's just 5 mm leds ,and the UV isn't uv it's just a bad purple light :P

It came out just fine, the body gets quite hot, so the heat transfer seems ok, osram led is very tough, so it can handle 18650 in direct drive. I know these lights (hosts) are crap, but I made use of them and gifted 3xAAA version to my friend for use as a bike light.
Did you have a 18650 version or did you mod the AAA version to run the 18650..
i change all my AAA's to 14500 with a spacer but these seemed short for the 18650

Both were 3XAAA versions, but to fit a 18650 I had to remove the plastic around the switch (gained almost 1cm), now it screws all the way in.
