what are your thoughts on these cheap ebay lights?
how long should they last?
how bright are they really?
what build quality of lack of do you think they have?

now before your too harsh they are only $5

i think they can be ok for a a budget 3rd or so light for when you go camping with your friends and you obviously get your $100 4000 lumen beauty !

what would you expect out of these?

i have both of these.

as far as i can tell, the “CREE Q5 1200 Lumens Mini flashlight…” is a decent light, but the coating on it chips, wear off extremely easily. and the brightness obviously not 1200 lumens, probably around 200 lumens as i compare it with my other flashlights.

and then, “Zoomable 1200 Lumen CREE Q5 LED Flashlight…” that uses 3x AAA or 18650(with battery sleeve) its also an okay light, same problem at above that actual lumens are only around 200. cheap coating that wears off easily.

they lives for quite a long time if you handle them gently

these cheap lights comes from several different factories which you never know what you gonna get, some good some bad.

If i were you, i would save my money up for something else.

ok lol i ended up winning them for like $2.50… but they should be a decent

Instead of messing with that first one spend $5 more on this

Same light but much better build (including solid pill) yet still only $7.99! Very popular here ok BLF right now.

Do you have a direct link, the link in the linked thread just goes to their front page, not a product.

seems to be out of stock atm

oh looks good, how many lumens is that 2000 one really?

Which one, Zeusray or one of the ones in the OP? the ones in the OP probably around 3-500 (MAX, and not F1, that would be at startup and start dropping instantly)

F1 = stabilized @ 30sec (plus other requirements that they surely dont meet)

the Zeusray one
