Cheapest place to buy 18650 Samsung/Panasonic?

10 days after ordering 3 pairs of NCR18650A protected i get a message they are out of stock, so i canceled my order. Now i get this email:
“A staff has added a solution to your request.

Dear Customer,

This order has been cancelled per your request. The refund will be issued to you within 1 to 3 working days. I’ll appreciate if you would like to give 10 marks on this service.”

I WILL GIVE YOU EXACTLY 1.0 FOR THIS KIND OF SHITTY SERVICE!!!

When that normally happens at DX I just wait till it comes back in-stock. They eventually send them out when they get the from their supplier again.

Pity the unprotected ones aren’t even cheaper, $5 for 2 18650 would be nice

only one reviewer actually posted the code R15B date code = 15th week of 2013 (WiseBuyer on 08/15/2013)

I noticed DX has been sending out emails once per week when they are still waiting for items to come in stock. Better that than no communication at all. My Pannova bike battery case was like that. Email week after week until it finally shipped. I have an order in for 2 sets of their protected Sanyo 2600mAh 18650's and here we go again with those emails! I expect they'll ship someday.

It’s what happens when you buy cheap stuff lol…
I can wait, the price is good

I’ve got the backorder message a couple of times and right now it seems DX is not able to deliver them at all anymore.
Item is temporarily sold out. So in DX terms that means it will never come back :frowning:

Same here :frowning:

I was already looking for another supplier for cheap reliable protected 18650’s (Panasonic, Sanyo) to feed the DX SRK that is on its way…
Any suggestions?

It is AMAZING to me that they can get 6000mAh printed on these batteries! I wonder what’s really inside these?

unicorn poop?
more likely hazardous waste they cant dump over there anymore.pack each cell with a tiny lipo cell to officially make it a battery then fill the rest with toxic waste they want rid of.sell enough of these junk cells and suddenly its in our landfill not theirs!
noticed it says manufactured by high capacity power products.they make mainly laptop accys.

DX has nothing good.
Just ordered samsung from bangood:

Very disappointed at DX because of this. Waited > 2 weeks and today I cancelled the order of Panasonic NCR’s which DX said they would ship within 72 hours.

Ordered these protected Samsungs for the DX SRK now.

Ive been waiting 6 weeks for these cells and dx just want me to wait longer, ive put a claim into paypal, i think the cells were a to good to be true offer that was just “to good to be true”. dx ticket system is useless each time they just want you to wait 2 weeks longer, ive asked for a refund and they will not even reply to that, ive purchased a few things from them and will not use them again, i feel as if ive been scammed. I ordered 2 batches of 4 cells.

My batteries shipped! They are back in-stock! Slightly more expensive than the previous price but still very good value!

The protected Sanyos? Haven't seen any notice about mine being shipped, perhaps soon. I already ordered 8 protected Samsungs from Banggood and they are in the US already. I meant to cancel my DX order but have been too busy to get to it. Guess I'll let it go and just end up with even more batteries than I need.

You could always resell em

DX was quick to ship my order, right when they had stock they even put a “tracking number”. lol

Just logged into my DX account and see that my order shipped on 4/23. I never received an email or anything about it shipping. Looks like it shipped Swedish Post. Wonder if they threw in some Swedish Fish along with it?

-Garry

Hahaha, I just hope I get the batteries soon so I can dump them in my SRK clone!!!

I just got my Sanyos from DX yesterday and was thrown off by their appearance. They do look identical to the DX pic (in the OP above), but I expected to read the Sanyo part# stamping and see the typical Sanyo colors around the button (it has that black plastic cap around the button as seen in the photo. I assume these really are Sanyos. All came at the same exact voltage (think it was 3.74v).

-Garry

So my sanyo’s came in! Yay!

Protection circuit near anode end? How reliable is it? I do not see this kind of protection from BG, WB or FT.
