Clear some info about Nichia please

I am confused a bit about the HIGH CRI Nichia NVSL219BT R85 D220

What is the maximum drive current for it and how much lumens expected to give at that current ofc i am not talking about over driving i mean just its maximum drive current like the XM-l2 at 3A

From the datasheet, it prefers PWM at 2A max, 1.5A without PWM:

Thank you, but approximately how much would it give lumens at 1.5 A

any one knows please ?

thank you that is what exactly i wanted , thank you again for doing this effort in your topic

Look through this Emitter Test Results pt4: XML2, XP-E2, XP-G2, and Nichia219! (along with sinkpad tests)

Don’t know if it’s any help. But I run these:

With the the 3.04A Qlite:

In a few different torches. And it seems to work fine, with a Samsung 25R INR battery I get approx 2.8-2.9amps at the tail cap with my DMM.

Lumen wise I can’t comment on. Obviously less lumens than an XM-L2 with the same driver and I’d guess slightly less than an XP-G2 with the same driver, based on other lights I own.

They also heat up more and quicker than either of the CREE’s. I don’t have a problem with this, but if you needed it on for a long time at high output it might be an issue.

I also have this p60 drop-in:

With the Nichia in a Solarforce L2M. Specs says 2.28amp driver. I think my DMM reads a little over 2.3amp at the tailcap. Note quite as bright as the ones using the 3.0A Qlite, but doesn’t heat up as quick or as hot.
