You might lose the ground ring on the component side. If that happens you need to reconnect any traces thus cut off to ground and it should be fine. Also make sure that any traces that are not connected to ground stay that way. Anyone know of a 3-mode version of this driver with no blinkies?
yeah, I am aware of that catch, recently had to shave a bit of of a nanjg 105 C to get it fit into TF-X9, left with a pretty thin ground ring but, it's working great (except that stupid driver whines like a bi**h in mid mode, when I finally shove a copper insert under the emitter I will solder driver all the way around )
