Aha. I grew up with incandescent flashlights (very low powered rechargeable ones, even warmer than normal even for an inca), so when I got my first LED light I was fascinated by the futuristic bluish-green tint.
Then I came full circle when I realized how awful the color rendering was. I sincerely believe that tint snobs on BLF and CPF have contributed massively to the fundamental change in the LED market in terms of availability and variety in tint and high CRI.
