Do you happen to have some output readings? Does the ramping driver give substantially more output than the 5-amp driver?
Wondering because I was going to swap in a SFT40 and ramping driver in my c8, and saw this discussion.
I've heard of people boosting the current on various drivers (including the 5A driver, boosted to 10A) by stacking resistors, if that's something feasible to you.
I tried out my friends C8+ SFT40 with an 8A driver. The performance is incredible and better than originally anticipated. We walked around the park at 11:13pm and it visibly better than my M21A SFT40 with 6A driver. I wish i had the chance to test it properly in lab, but it's not mine.
Where can I get this 8A driver?
The driver is now obsolete and I am still without one.

Just an FYI to everyone - if you get the S11, or an M21b with an SFT40 it will come with an 8A driver from factory since both of those hosts use a 22mm driver.
Convoy now has 8A buck drivers in both 17mm (C8+) and 20mm (M21A).
