This driver is similar in function to anduril, but the code is rewritten, which is more conducive to compatibility with components.

The charging version of M3 will be launched soon, it applies this ramping program.

M3 with USB-C charging? That will be great!

I wanted to buy M3 but ended up buying M4U mainly because of the USB charging feature (currently in shipping, hopefully will arrive in the next few weeks).
Here’s why : I had a BD06 (XML2, 26650) , it has micro-USB charging (with litter adapter attached to the side switch). It’s been very useful, I mainly used it around the house/yard.
It’s very practical for around the house, even more so for traveling, no hassle with external charger.
I took it for traveling out of town a few times and unfortunately I lost/misplaced it. I bought M4U as a replacement for my BD06.

M3 with USB-C charging + M21C-U’s = super awesome. When will it be launched?

M3 with Type-c charging is in production now ,the mode is similar to M21C-U

Supper excited… i got bunch of 26650 batteries and I cant wait

also need driver to upgrade my old M3 and de-soldering USB charger… prefer keeping the light more robust water proof

Ooo yeah! I really hoped that Simon would make such a Convoy and it happened! Compact 21700 + XHP50! I’m impatient!
Simon, can you make version S21B (S11 21700 version) + XHP70? XHP70 on a small reflector is a wonderful flood light! Here is a photo for an example:

I am a bit worried about the naming of Convoy flashlights. It used to be easy. S - small, M - medium, L - large. It seems to me more and more mixed up with each new model. In this case, the S21B seems to be out of place, because its size is similar to the M1/​​M2. It should be called M21B, but it’s already taken.
Likewise for the S12. Larger than M1/M2, and by old standards marked as S - small.

Another suggestion Simon, while you are at it, it’s also gonna be awesome to update the S2+ , or make something as a more modern version of S2+ .

IMO :
S11 seems to have a very beautiful body design style for a tube light .
S2+ has the most practical size for EDC .
Convoy’s new best EDC flashlight = S2+’s size with S11’s body style, with USB-C charging and M21C-U’s UI , XPL HI / SST40 / LH351D ~4500K .

This is an entirely different driver so only 4 modes are available.

XHP35 HI requires a boost driver when running only a single cell.

More testing needs to be done still. Djozz is meant to be going to thoroughly test this, not sure how far away this is though.

Need to know more about range / cd / throw. I miss that for many flashlights in lots of brands stores like Sofirn, Astrolux, Convoy etc. Why do they not understand that this is crucial information?
