Anyone had performance problems with the 8A driver for KW CULPM1.TG My driver gives only 1A at 100% mode (measured at the tail). I have that in every group on the new, charged Molicel P42A.
Edit.
I hear the driver buzzing at 100%.
Can you provide some more information about these au-coated copper springs? Of course I am asking because of the “copper” thing. Copper in itself is not elastic, it needs to be alloyed. Is that spring made out of some actual copper alloy? Maybe some high conductivity beryllium copper?
Yes, Simon made me a M26C with that combination. From the start I wondered whether it was actually using 8A, as it did not throw further than my Astro FT03 ( XHP 50.2 ). Then I purchased the C8+ with CSLNM1.F1 ( green ) and the output and throw was identical to the larger M26C.
Then the M26C stopped working, also with buzzing sound coming from driver. Simon is sending a replacement driver, so will be interesting to see if the output is the same as before or improved.
Dammit! I haven’t been in this thread in a while abd I missed this! The red and purple are AWESOME, and would cause me to buy my first (3) C8’s , because the orange is amazing too.
Simon- any idea when purple and red will be in stock again for the C8, cslnm1??
In case Convoy has a flashlight with battery tube that accepts 26800 battery, can I also order a 26800 battery with it?
(So far, 26800 batteries do not ship to my country, unless I order in bulk, like 100 pieces… Talked to a few online dealers who either said they can’t ship to my country, or I need to order a bulk quantity…) Would really like to try the 26800 battery format.
Back in march there was some talk about the 12 group firmware for the AA/14500 driver in the T2.
There was another thread here recently asking about disabling the memory on T2 driver, I don’t know if that’s possible but it’s further evidence that not everyone wants memory and that a programmable version would be great.
You said you were going to restart the plan to have this driver manufactured, is that still the plan?
26800 batteries are not very popular currently
and here is a problem.it’s hard to find a suitable charger for 26800.
Repurchasing the charger will also increase the user’s cost.
If 26800 batteries become popular, I will consider producing extension tubes,
