Anybody know the brightness, in lumens or percent of maximum, of each mode? Might be interesting to know the brightness that it steps down to.

Thermal control steps down from hi in 1 minute 50 seconds. Just slightly warm.

9/450/1300/3500

My unit stepdowns from 3500 to 1300 in around 1 minute and a half. If I try to go back to turbo it stepdowns again in 30 seconds, thermal control seems to be too conservative

That’s a pretty radical mode distribution. Too bad there isn’t an 80-100lm mode inbetween 9 and 450, I’d actually go for it if there was.

I’m selling it because of that, I have no use for a light without a 80-130lm mode

I don’t like it’s driver because of the very drastic temperature control.
Any idea, what driver could I use instead, what works in this lamp, and has a more sofisticated temperature control?

I mean something like it dims the lamp when it is too hot, but makes it stronger if it cool enough.

Reason I'm asking is..... My Rofis MR70 and MR50, Thrunite TC20 and TC15 all suffer with drop out of turbo with in seconds unless i use very high drain cells.

Probably voltage sag.

Hold up a little while on that. They measure a fat 26.7mm’s. I asked if anyone could measure that Convoy’s internal diameter. Most, but not all lights fit that fat battery.

Thanks for checking both of these batteries use the PBL INR26650-55A 3.6V/3.7V 5500mAh NiCoMn(NCM) cell.
