Convoy S2+ doesn't keep the configured mode

Hello

I bought this S2+: 17.09€ |Convoy S2 + mit KW CSLNM1.TG, 18650 taschenlampe, taschenlampe|Taschenlampen| - AliExpress
with 12 mode groups

If I loosen the tailcap, after some hours it reverts back to the mode 1.
It can survive some hours (1-2-3?), so it can keep the configured mode for some time. But if I loosen the tailcap at night, it will be mode1 in the morning.
How can I fix this? If it is fixable, even.
At last resort I can replace driver, in this case please recommend a suitable driver which has similar levels and able to keep configuration after loosening tailcap.

You can leave it on when unscrewing the tail cap, it’s the screwing it back on that resets it.

That threads says that if memory mode is enabled it prevents it, but it doesn’t, it just makes it less frequent
