【convoy】SFT70 3000K CRI95 available

Thanks!

Simon, did you manage to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Production of the first batch of 1,000 flashlight hosts has been completed.
They’re already in my warehouse. It’s just that there are some minor problems with the driver circuit that need to be fixed.
This has been delayed for more than a month.

This is just the shipment of goods through Amazon Logistics.
Amazon Logistics can transport goods from Amazon platforms as well as other non-Amazon platforms.

Yes, the problem is being solved.
My upcoming Convoy T6 flashlight also uses this driver circuit.
I have not yet added the T6 flashlight to my shop, precisely because this issue has not been completely resolved.
At present, the repair is in the final step.

Upcoming T6 flashlight eh? :eyes::flashlight:

Thanks Simon, looking forward to the T6!

I have a somewhat related question on the T series; is it possible to change the optics between T3/T5 e.g. if I wanted to drop a TIR in T3 or reflector in T5? If so, where do I find the related parts in your store?

T3 and T5 are not the same length, the T5 is shorter because of the TIR lens.

Ah ok, I didn’t know that! I have the T5 but waiting to get the T3 (TiCu) and would have loved to have the TIR in that light.

You can sand a larger optic in place of the reflector, or raise the MCPCB with a copper/aluminum piece. You can find examples on Reddit.
I think this TIR is in the T5.

Thanks! I will pick up a few of those in my next order. I think sanding might be good for one-off solution to try a TIR. Do you by any chance have any more info/links on the spacer?

For example, there is a thread here about how a user has sanded a 20mm optic like this to replace the reflector.
I can’t help you with the spacer, I haven’t modified it yet and I haven’t measured how big it should be. On Aliexpress you can buy 1-1.5mm plates that you can solder together to get the desired thickness.

The thread by @QReciprocity42 opens up a flood of possibilities. The hack on using the O-ring and glass lens to act as a spacer is a good one. I have the whole collection of S2+ TIRs, which will make it easier to play around.

Thanks for the links and indulging in my curiosity.

Sanding the 20mm TIR ended up being slightly more lossy than a reflector (due to edge of TIR blocked by bezel), but the improvement in beam profile is totally worth it imo. Some weak diffusion tape takes care of artifacts in the spill.

I’ve heard that the T5 17mm TIR has a 5050 emitter opening, so there may be centering issues with a 3535 emitter. So T3 and sanded 20mm optic might actually be better than a T5 with stock 17mm optic.

Happy to hear that!

You could meanwhile offer the S6-AA-host with a 17mm 5A buck driver. It works very well with 14500 cells and most LEDs.

@Simon_Mao what is the status of S21G in Titanium Copper head version like T3? Can i order it like that or there will be a batch soon?

Not urgent but will the T2 or T3 replacement silicone buttons be added to your store? Might want to pick up some clear ones.

3 Thanks

I will second this, as I don’t need the 10 pack from the Ali listing. To accompany the button, a drop-in light switch would be most welcome! The RGB one from the S2+ doesn’t work, at least in my T5, and possibly requires a mod.

In general, now that the T series is mature enough, it should have a similar range of accessories and parts as the S-series.

Can someone help me to identify this chip on the 30mm L7 3V buck driver? I am pretty sure that this is the buck controller.

Help much appreciated!

It’s a LM27402.
