That experimen failed. B35AM without proper thermal pad and clustered close together started smoking way below normal drive current.

I have temporarily modded mine with one. It is doable. Requires a gasket (standard butterfly 5050 works).
Which optic did you use? How does it compare to the 70.3 HI?
In case anyone is still puzzling over ConvoyLight.com showing a big “v”, I second the recommendation to reload the page.
This appears to be due to the page’s stylesheet not loading correctly the first time. The result is text and images don’t get scaled as intended, or laid out the way they were intended. Usually, pressing F5 or the refresh button to reload the page fixes it.
This is usually a fairly infrequent problem, but something about Simon’s page seems to be causing it fairly frequently. I see it on Opera, which is based on Chromium. I don’t recall seeing it recently in Firefox.
Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t.
It’s still an issue that Simon needs to look into if he hasn’t already.

OK, thank you. I just ordered two more of the black L6, and I can still use the different colored 26800 extensions to easily identify which light is which, so it’s not a big problem.
