Assuming using same emitter and NiMH only (of same capacity ofc).
My gut tells me it’s probably close enough where it doesn’t practically matter, but it would be nice if someone who has the same equal lights could test it out.
It was about runtime on NiMH correct? This is boosted voltage. LH351D have higher Vf than 519A so if anything the T2 would have been handicapped in this comparison. No?
Not commenting on the previous testing, but as far as I can tell all new T2 and T3 are now sold with the same dual mode driver, having this description:
4 modes 1%-10%-35%-100% or 12groups(see below), Max current output 0.5A (AA battery),Max current output 1.5A (14500 lithium battery),
So I expect they will have the same performance when the same LED is chosen.
(Simon also offers UV and red light T3’s now which might use different drivers).
