U_235:
First off I know there are some of you out there that I owe parts and heatsinks to, and I would just like to say that I did not forget about you, but it has been a heck of a busy year. I have had to work more than I thought, and when I was off I had a 2 year old to take care of because the wife got called away for work several times. So I apologize that I did not get the lathe time I thought I would. You will get your heatsinks soon.
I just wanted to gauge interest in copper P60 pills and mag heatsinks, or perhaps another part that is needed that I may not realize the demand for. I was talking to a friend at work that used to write programs for all types of cnc machines. It looks like I should be able to get a run of parts made for relatively cheap. Just want to hear what some of you would seriously be interested in, such as copper p60 pills, mag heatsinks, or anything else. I was thinking a heatsink for the mag rebel reflectors may be of interest since nobody offers one.
If I get enough people seriously interested, I will get him to make a run of parts. The more people the cheaper it will be obviously, but I will say the price should be very good. All parts will be made on the latest and greatest equipment. I will just have to pay for tooling, materials, and throw the guy setting up and running the machine some cash.
Give me some feedback, and I will see what the price will be and let you know when they can be done.
Just curious, why aluminium? isn’t copper the better conductor

Yes, but aluminium is much cheaper and easier to machine.

Ouch! U_235 .
I am sorry to hear that. I hope you will recover completely from your ailments. So that you have excess energy to do hobby stuff again. I completely understand how the depression thing you went through can suck all the energy out of you to the point where lots of stuff just is forgotten. It's good to hear that you are on the recovery though. I will keep my fingers crossed...

Thanks for the kind words! I have so much work at home backed up I do not know where to begin. I hope to be playing with flashlight stuff again soon, and have some xpg-2s on order. Still in a little bit of a blue funk, but Im feeling better.
