I would like to carry it in the pocket. I like the idea of tactical features on the touch, but above all want it to be bright (I like the sound of 800 to 1000 lumens)! I would like to keep the battery aspect of my first strong light simple, but could be into some of these stable rechargeable batterys I have been reading about. By simple, I mean placing them in a wall charger at night, loading them in my flashlight in the morn, and not having to worry about them past that. I think I have been reading about batterys that the mnfr claims to be more powerful than they actually are? I know ballistics, not the tech elements of batterys (it is interesting though). Multi modes sounds good and I like clicky. Throw sound intense and good for my urban environment. How long do these things run for on a charge? Do they last as long as a four cell full size maglight (which is not very bright i may add). Last, a few days ago,when I stumbled upon BLF, I found a light on Amazon that said the suggested retail was $1000, now on sale for about $125. Whats the deal? I thank you guys for the suggestions in advance. Links to the specific items would be great (and to the batterys and chargers that go with them). And please no suggestions that involve soldering anything...I have enough paperweights around the house (kidding..)

OK pocket carry and 800 lumens that narrows it down. How about the Uniquefire UF-2100 3 or 5 mode? I have the Yezl version of this light and it belts out an honest 800 lumens and fits in your pocket. Here is the test.

You are also going to need at least two 18650 batteries and a charger.

I recommend protected Trustfire Flame 18650s to start out and a Trustfrire TR-001 charger.

This is the TR-001 charger I have bought a couple to sell and kept one for myself, it is my go to charger very reliable safe and cheap.

For batteries I own about 20 of these Trustfire protected 18650s again very powerful reliable and safe at a reasonable price.
