Wallbuys does some interesting math on that price (17% discount on $16.67 = $6.20?).
Make note of the pictures above, it would appear that for some reason many of the Chinese based sellers are helping GP move old stock out. I’ve noticed on other threads a lot of vigilance about checking the date on 18650 cells, are NiMh more ‘age’ tolerant? They might be a good buy, or maybe ‘you’ll get what you pay for’ but at least you know what you’re getting in advance.
You got me curious so here is 2 refresh cycles test:
Swapped the bays of batteries 1-4 and 3-2 between first and second cycle

The bays seem consistent and this is the charger.
I guess I have a bad battery in this batch but they were anyway going to be used for remotes, toothbrush, etc, so I guess that if that is the only bad one it’s ok for me.
Thanks for taking the time to test these again. One thing bothers me - are these the same cells you labelled 1-4 in your post #105?
If so, then the results of four test cyles would be as follows:

Is it possible the numbers have been mixed up a bit? I find it strange to see the capacity dropped slightly on three cells.
Anyway, taking into account your results from cells 5-8, it seems you have 7 out of 8 performing at or over the stated 820mA capacity. And as you say, in low powered or single cell devices the capacity mismatch doesn't herald the end of the world. Especially at only about 70c each.
The typical junk stuff like you said… around here ~250mAh AAAs would sell for around $3-4, and that’s not even LSD. Will need to fork $20+ for 4 Recykos. This BIC ones, despite not being the best or most consistent batteries, are still much cheaper and better than what I can get at the price.

I’m keeping the batteries I did get as a backup, but I’m never doing business with BIC again.
Boy, what a nightmare:
Order 1: Missing Items (partial refund-store credit then changed to PP refund)
Order 2: OK
Order 3: 3 of 4 items arrived destroyed (partial refund PP)
Order 4: Charged my PP instead of using coins from Order 1 refund like I chose on the order screen (cancelled- full PP refund)
No more orders will be happening. They have refunded everything I asked them to straight to my PP, but I still have to drive to the bank tomorrow to make a deposit on my over-drafted checking account from order 4, which is my allowance account that I keep just enough money in for my orders.
That’s indeed a good price. At $14, it’s quite affordable. Recyko? Nice name, this is the first time I’ve heard it. I hope it isn’t a “recycled” battery. LoL!
My batteries has arrived, I will also test them with hobby charger.
I have an open paypal dispute with them. They have sent 18650 flashlight instead of an AA one.
Their CS is not good, they offer you store credit, if you insist they change it to Paypal partial refund.
They do not want to do a FULL refund.
