Deal Alert - 4 x AA GP Recyko NiMH LSD batteries - $6.25 @ BIC

I’ve ordered 2 packs of AAA and one AA as 3 different orders. Received only 2 packages - one AAA pack was missing. Got a refund for it.
I also noticed that when I ordered the batteries (about a month ago) there were 2 kinds of recyko’s on ebay - “green generation” for 6-8$ (for AA) from different sellers, and “new genereation” for $12. Now they all cost $12. I’m curious if this has something to do with this thread

Aww, missed the AAAs at $3.04. They’re now at $4.74 with the 5% off coupon, still worth buying?

I have ordered 3 packs at $3.04 and guess what happened?

They just refunded me instead of sending them.
When I asked why, they just replied that they are out of stock.
While it is on sale at $4.74.

Made an order yesterday at $4.74, order status at P5 now so it seems to be ‘in stock’. Maybe they just hit their quota of selling them at $3.04. :~

I think someone was doing a test but its probably not ready yet.

That was probably me.

Mine have been sitting for almost 2 months since I charged them.

I may try a discharge test on a few of them soon, then perhaps another at 3 months.

Yeah that’s right, I was replying from my tablet so it made it difficult to read the thread and reply at the same time.

Buyer beware with this brand.
I’ve an outstanding warranty claim from this company from over a year ago, that they refuse to resolve.

I should note that BIC I’ve had no experience with, so if you’re willing to take the risk with the cells…

Update: They just refunded me on both the AAAs and a DMM which is still shown on their site as “in stock”. Gonna lose some money because of the currency conversion to and fro.

if you used paypal, they will refund the same quantity you paid, if it was CC… sorry

Yea I paid by CC, I don’t trust paypal much to leave money with them. If only they allowed the option to deposit refunds into the account instead of back into the CC so that they stay in the original currency.
