The DMM”s I have now only go to 10A & when testing tail amps I have got similar readings to other members (I do not know what they were using).
Obviously a clamp meter would give me a more accurate reading & might be something I will consider in the future.
But for now I just want to see if I am getting reasonably similar results to other members & to see if any mods I make, such as spring bypasses, increase amps.
I am only a basic hobbyist & don”t do much modding or tune lights into highly driven high powered hot rods (yet).
