I’ve had to sand down the spacers for all my lights with XPL HI. I typically use an XP sized spacer, but end up grinding down the top until it is almost flush with the top of the LED. If not, the artifacts are horrible. I haven’t been able to find a spacer specifically made for the XPL HI emitter. If there is one out there can you give me a link? Thanks.

I just built a quad XP-L HI with smooth Convoy S2 reflectors and used these spacers from Mountain Electronics. I though the beam was very nice. The top of the spacer has just enough height to center the reflector.
