I thought this was to be an AA version of the BLF AA light (see below)
If what you said in the other thread is true, then this is what the light is supposed to look like and the dimensions are the following:

No that was a different light. This is a much shorter one with a different lineage (If I understand you correctly... )
I guess I just assumed this was the announcement for the CQG BLF AA light to follow the CQG BLF AAA. My bad. 
Damn, and we thought we only had one model we needed to buy... the acquiring never ends
