Dry 3 x XM-L T4 7C. Coming Soon : T5 Neutral White

The SkyRay SR3800 also has a somewhat very slightly bluish white light, while the Trustfire 3T6 has a very slightly warmer rendition. My Fandyfire STL-V6 thrower has a somewhat even slightly bluer rendition. Some call it the tint lottery because with the Chinese lights you never know what you'd get.

But then Ric's DRY version is specced to be T6 1A, which is usually well accepted in here and CPF mod sections, the fav is probably 1D. I think I have a 1A CW but not sure which light. (forgotten!) LOL! This is E1320's 1A and 1D P60 drop-ins with beamshots https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/2691

They said the WW 7C emitters have a higher Vf, that is why we get 3A draw on DD.

I purchased a new CW light with 3-mode 4 amps DD driver, and also purchased additional drivers. Ric will send me the new drivers next week to test, yes supposed to reach 3 amps. Also gotten 3 of his Sanyo 2600 unprotected batts to test, so now have the XTAR protected (which are also Sanyo 2600s) and those.

So that is good to hear, that the T6 1A tint looks great. BTW you have to consider not only colour temperature but also CRI (Colour Rendition Index). Google it up. Just take it that CW LEDs have CRI in the 60s, NW in the 70s and WW in the low 80s.

HIDs are always good unless you go some funky colour temps. You hit well over 80s at 5000k. Halogen lights (warm white, 3000k) have a CRI close to 100.
