@woody, how do you find the heat when using Li-ion or LiFePo4?
It does get hot pretty quickly on 14500 Li-ions (don’t have Lifepo4). One thing though - the pre-flash disappears with the higher voltage. It’s the main reason I don’t use eneloops - the preflash really annoyed me on moonlight.
