EBC-A20 PC Programmable Battery Tester

The manufacturer still has no sent me no reply regarding max input voltage.
Logically if the unit can discharge at 30V then the manufacturer statement “The maximum charging voltage should be set below power voltage 2V.”

I sent my question to them again:
EBC-A10 to charge at 30V you must have power supply +2V more, that means 32V PSU?

Why they include so low 12V or 18V voltage PSU is not clear Except reduce cost.
To charge at 24V (2 PB battery) you need 27V PSU, what about some power tool 18V 20V battery?

Any other way to confirm max input voltage, I don’t want magic smoke to escape
