I’ll do some beamshot with the MT07S, L6 XHP70.2 SMO FET driver, HT35, SC01, MF01
I’ve to say that Haikelite quality it really good ! the reflector is so perfect, LED is perfectly center and overall finishing and machining is beautiful. I own a mill and a lathe and i know that i can do the same for 10x the price here in France!

Unprotected raised top is usually preferred, but i know some of the owner have removed the plastic insulators for their MT03s.
Sent. Current deal is few cents cheaper now. Could be due to conversion rate. 
the first thing i did when received this light is removing plastic insulators
i like to live dangerously 
Raised top means the positive pole is only a little higher with a bigger diameter, not a button top or?
