Thanks for reviving this thread, as I have had the same question.
In Sam’s Club I seen the white top made in Japan AA Energizer’s. They looked very similiar to my Duraloops.
I did not notice the mah. I need to go back and see if it visible thru the packaging.
If these are actually 2000 mah, could you think that they are actually Duraloops?
They are 1400mah for sure. I recently thought they were rebranded eneloops too. They look like this right? The 1500x is a very eneloopy thing to say and they’re made in japan too.

Ok, so I know about the rebranded Duracells, and I’ve read plenty of comments about how most of the energizer LSD Nimh cells aren’t as great. Well I was in the store today and an energizer pack caught my attention. It was one I hadn’t seen before. They were called energizer “recharge universal.” They claimed the similar specs as 1500 cycles- like the eneloops. I looked closer and they were definitely Japanese made, and they had a white ring around the top. Anyway, check out this link.

But yeah, they have a 1400 mah stamped on the side.
