Expert help needed for resistor mod

This evening I replaced the stock driver wires to the emitters wirh 18ga speaker wire. I also removed the resistors and replaced them with tinned copper braid. I didn't measure the output yet but I think it did make a difference. I will top off the cells tomorrow and measure in the IS as well as measure throw. Thanks for your help, guys! :)

Couldn’t find any Romex? :stuck_out_tongue:

Wish I had your sphere or could drop in on ya with a 6 pack…

 Drop in any time, brother. You are always welcome!

I have a roll of speaker wire that is 30 years old. Pure copper strand. A bit stiff but just flexible enough to use. Now I just have to sit down with the dmm and figure out what the heck the center contacts in the battery tube do.

Monster cable is very flexible fine strand speaker wire…just sayin.

Yeah, I’ve got some of that old speaker cable too…that’s the stuff I never could solder worth a darn! My ’74 Mercury Comet had a kick aus sound system in it though, considering the era and all. 13 speakers with triple eq/amplifiers. Ah, those were the days! Didn’t have a flashlight worth squat though, to be sure! lol

I do believe those are for the switch on the handle.

Bingo! smacks forehead I should have known that!. Thanks
