Expired - Craftsman DMM Autoranging, w/ temp probe, $13.59 + tax if applicable, free shipping (conus?)

Finally got around to playing with the trim pots and found the one to adjust the voltage. For anyone curious, it's the topmost one labeled VR2. Righty (clockwise) = higher, Lefty (ccw) = lower (I circled and pointed to it w/arrow in MS Paint but it's very faint):

EDIT: Overall it's a decent meter especially for the price paid but not particularly good for measuring li-ion since at 4V it jumps to just two digit decimal resolution vs. three for lower than that.

Thanks turboBB! That will be a big help if I need to adjust mine. Have you determined what the other pots do?

Unfortunately no since my main use for this was to check on batteries. I've calibrated this against my Fluke and it's pretty much dead on with it now.

Expired!

FYI I have a Vellerman DMM £20 or so, quite cheap. My friend came round to fix my central heating boiler PCB. Anyway he drags out his Fluke, I don’t what model it is but he said it cost him £200 over 10 years ago. I checked the voltage of all my cells and checked the currents my various torches pulled. The readings on the Fluke were Identical to my Vellerman for both Volts and Amps.

Most of the cheap DMM perform very well indeed, in my case, as well as a Fluke, at least for my use.

Just think what you could have done with that $607

Marc.

This reminded me that I ordered one when this was originally posted…and I haven’t gotten it yet…crap…I’ve had better luck with DX lol

EDIT: I just checked paypal, and for whatever reason the payment had expired…not sure why…oh well.
