I know FastTech has been getting some hate lately, but a couple of interesting looking lights in the new arrivals this morning:
They appear to be P60 hosts, but with the pill threaded into the body. If so, that would make a much better thermal transfer system, giving them good heat-sinking potential compared to a traditional floating-pill P60 host.

Looks interesting if it actually does screw in. I have some very hot running dropins that I would love to see fit into a threaded section of the light.
Interesting indeed. That might explain why the pill of a recently acquired Fandyfire/Ultrafire drop-in was threaded all the way down and was missing the usual groove for the spring.
Not sure if there would be enough exposed thread on a standard pill for it to work.

Yeah, I was just gonna warn everyone, they’re 20mm, not 17mm. I don’t have enough SK98s to use the ones I mistakenly got. 
And they can’t be shaved down to 17mm, as there’s too much stuff on the periphery.
