XTAR wrote in their selling folder this, but I will ask my XTAR connection and will write down his answer in this post.
Here are the XTAR products, which are the most interesting in my opinion (hope the chargers will aso be available with a EU plug, because I like the US to EU adapters not to much). Most of the chargers are tested by HKJ

That Jeep multi tool looks interesting. Just the thing for removing the hasp on our backcountry work cabins when I arrive after a 20km hike and contemplate a night on the porch and uncooked freeze dried food after I discover I forgot my keys. Weight seems not too bad for an item that bulky (at 147g I’m thinking perhaps they got it wrong as that’s the same weight as my Leatherman Skeletool CX). I wonder how far the jaws open on that wrench? I also wonder who makes these ’clones” (after all it might be a clone from the same factory that makes the originals no?). If it were from a Ganzo factory I assume the quality would be not so bad?
Edit: just found a review online, it holds up to an 11mm bolt head.
I didn’t realize the difference between those was that significant. Is it actually a factor of 10X, or was that more of an allegorical figure (as opposed to an empirical figure), meant to illustrate that 12c27 subjectively seems to be quite a bit better than 8Cr13MoV?
When you use those cheap china blades on skinning jobs they tend to dull rather quickly. You need to use sharpener all the time. With sandvik I can skin 5 roebucks without sharpening.
But if you’ll use them for self defense or paper cutting than no problem. They are sharp enough for self-defense if you know what I mean
It’s funny you should mention that Mora, because I have been giving serious consideration to grabbing one. I’d like you opinion on this Hultifors knife as I am close to the seller and could grab it with no shipping.
I also noticed this Mora the other day. That I was thinking about.
As an aside, I am allowed a knife, and also a multitool, every 3 years paid for by my employer. I never bothered with the knife because I have so many Chinese knives. But last week I was getting a new Leatherman Skeletool as I got tired of the weight of my Leatherman Wave. I saw a CRKT 2865E in the case so I decided I may as well grab one (paid for by my allowance) and perhaps give it to a co-worker that had lost his work knife in the field. Apparently the steel is 1.4116 stainless. I subsequently learned at $84.00 it was a total rip off price. The blade says Kommer 30-30 on it. But just handling the knife it feels real nice in the hand, it does not have a clip (which I like but has caused me to lose a Ganzo and a Bee in the past two months), but now I’m thinking about keeping it, especially after this talk about how much better good steel can be. How does 1.4116 stainless stack up?
The Hultafors is a great value knife, as is the Mora. I have a Hultafors Heavy Duty knife and it is tough as they come, you would have to be doing something stupid to break one. They all punch far above their weight and the one you’re looking at,the Craftsman is no different. They come very sharp and stay that way for a good length of time, unless you are sharpening bricks or something.
There are a few videos on you tube—
EDIT………….
4116 Is a Krupp steel. I have a Cold steel Tanto Lite with this blade-steel and it’s not bad, Cold Steel uses it for a lot of their less expensive blades so being Cold Steel it has to put up with a lot.
I’ve never really hard used it but after a few gardening tasks it held up O.K. not needed sharpening just a quick stropping.
