But it looks like all the LED’s have centering disk to center them well to me, maybe it is just the angle problem.

Does anyone have any info on these new Kings for different models (3 vs 4 vs 5 …) how much current they are pulling high vs low mode? FT numbers are hopeless.
Would lower voltage LiFePO4 work for 3-5 LED models?
Don’t remember, seems all 4 cells are in parallel so boost circuit? So may pull more current to compensate for lower V?

I agree, this might be the easiest host thusfar for a retard light! No messing with battery configuration, it is already 2S3P, reflow 12 XHP50's (XHP70's might not fit behind the reflector) on Sinkpads, or just buy them on 16mm copper boards from Kaidomain (I bet that those boards will work fine at the current the leds will get individually), solder them on a copper plate, do not bother with a driver, just wire the batteries (LG HE2's) through to the leds, bypass all tail springs with 18AWG wire, replace the switch with one of these: 
, and I bet you have 30+ amps with 25 klumen or more. Total costs 150 dollar?
As a SRK fan i am interested in those too, i use SRK alot arround my house and as an offhand fl when camping/hunting… should be definately an interesting review to read

I had checked out the TR-J20 as a host before but this one is cheaper & have 18650 in 2S3P, instead of the 32650’s in the TR-J20.
