Hi there, thanks for mentioning this. You’re right, giveaways should not require signing up elsewhere. The main intention of those rules is to avoid coercing users into participating in things like Facebook pages. I guess I can look the other way this time as a one-time exception since it’s just Aliexpress, and apparently quite a few users have already signed up anyway.

Not at all! You’re no less of an equal member than any of us. Also, I would argue it would be more beneficial for the manufacturer to get their product into hands that have never held a Fireflylite before in order to win over a new customer.

That being the case (which is fine by me), it would be nice to see a list of those who have followed the rules,followed the store and contacted them via dm as requested and not just put ‘I’m in’ on here. Basically having done all that it would be nice to see the entries as being confirmed, since otherwise we have no idea if we are even entered since there has been no confirmation of them recieving the dm.
