I got my 7 year old Godson a Sipik SK68 for his birthday. I got him this one because it would run on AA (Alkaline or NiMh) and also because it was single mode. You might want to consider how many mode you think the person you’re giving it to would like to have (and how important run time is). If you think they’ll use it as a “nightlight” too, you might want to get one that has a ‘low’.
