Flashlight for my bike

Thanks, Shadowww.

But I can't find the L2 host on Solarforce Sales for 8 USD only..

Oops, it’s $9, my bad.

There also was grey/silver one, but apparently they are sold out. :(

You're welcome. Just wanted some real world riding issues mentioned. Although I mod handlights I don't use them on the bike as I could not achieve high output and long runtime in a host that was practical to put on my head and I did not want to stop for battery changes. Also, I already had a halogen set but as I age I gound I needed more light. Now I'm greedy for more. You are getting plenty of advise from people who know about hosts and mounts. What you are doing is a compromise solution. I prefer a large spot/medium flood but any lightwill help as long as it works so the only really wrong choice you could make would be one that could not handle the abuse. Ask if anyone would be willing to test their favorite by wrapping it in bubble wrap and putting it in the dryer for 45 minutes. That's the one you should pick.

I know you said you were not interested in fixed bike lighting but who knows, maybe someone else is reading this thread or you may change your mind.

Ebay dual vistalite set

Quite often these sell with few bidders and are a nice platform for DIY.

hallo.dont want to open newe thread-can you reccomend the brightest budget light for bike-classic red, white, but also i want blue light…best for aa or aaa batteries… i never bought it…so,need to help.thanks:))

Your best bet would probably by a 4xAA light like the copied Nitecore EA4

Strapped to a flashlight mount you're gonna have to find yourself. (Diameter of 40mm as listed)

hi.oh thanks,but i meant something like this:

hah,i mean,i found it by my self, but i wanted similar to this, powered by aa or aaa:)

I'm not sure you'll be able to light much in front of you.

I do quite a bit of night riding and at a very moderate 30km/h (<20mph) I need a good 500+lms from a P60 style light if I want to see where I'm going and be able to stop in time.

i need it only for blinking!!! i worte-warning light,not normal light…only warning light…to back,to front…

any one has experience with this kind of warning lights?:

red laser lights…but-how to choose?

I bought one from FT early summer. Does not appear to increase safety on roads where there is no designated bike lane, which applies to me. Perhaps they are useful for urban areas where there are designated bike lanes however.

anyone experience with this warning lights?:
are there better…worst?
can anone reccomend some red, white, blue lights?
some looks good to see from the sides….
