143g without battery? That’s crazy heavy for a single 18650 light like this. There’s not a ton of copper in the head so I’m hoping that’s a mistake. Would make more sense if that’s the weight with battery.
14Xg is correct, my sample weights about 145g. Even with 18650 battery loaded in FM1, it is still lighter than Astrolux MF01 Mini Copper Aluminum flashlight (w/o battery).
After going through my diagram again, I estimate about 70% of the material used for the head is copper.
