For now I know that the driver uses FET + 3 AMCs, similar to D4S
one switch LED controlled by MCU
Aux board controlled by MCU
The aux board has a build in low battery warning and LVP
The standby drain of the voltage detect chip and LDO is about 0.05mA
The board will have a 3x3mm SMD trimmer to set the outer LEDs brightness as the user likes
LED colors are not decided yet, in theory it can have each LED with a different color
the low battery and LVP voltages are not determined yet
if the boards detects low battery voltage the outer LEDs shut down and inner LEDs light up, likely inner will be red
Can I request that a strong magnet be in the tailcap? Or at least give us the option for those that don’t want it. But it’s very useful in my eyes. Thank you!
That’s kinda cool that they pushed forward the emitters and optics so the battery could tuck behind it all to make it overall shorter than a Zebralight 18650 headlamp, even though it uses a 21700.
