GOOSE, IF they do not glue the tailcap it can be easily removed. If they do use glue on the tailcap it might be a bit more tricky.
Snip the metal and file it down in worst case scenario.

If the tail is glued and you cant get the clip off Iāll be very irritated. Canāt stand pocket clips on my lights

Im not above saying something stupid butā¦. I suppose it is no more ridiculous than flashlights made of meteorites and hiking boots.
Actually I was serious(but as I mentioned earlier in the link above)as a custom clip that would work on the bill of a capā¦. why wouldnt this design work if the other clip could be removed? I realize this design would not be preferred for a ādedicatedā pocket clip even though it could still be used as one(using the 1st bend) but more important to me, also on the bill of a cap. As I said earlier, I dont like or use pocket clips and would probably remove the current clip if it wasnt glued.
