yes.
highest sensitivity is in the green.
and much lower in far red.
this has been taken advantage of even as far back as the 50’s
anyone remember cool green fluorescents?
almost devoid of red.

It would be interesting to know how reliable this test can be, with a large enough sampling of course.

Fun test, kind of easy it seems though, at least I got zero. Anyone with more than zero?

Responses from non-flashaholics could help determine if we have one up on the general population….

as the text states…

yes
My left eye does not work normally (no vision in the center due to CSR)

I got "0"

The other thing to consider with these tests is that the display you’re viewing it on has its own color rendering characteristics, and may be quite different from another display. It looks very different between my phone and laptop, with better differentiation on the phone.

I did worse on my iPhone than on my iMac

Dat 4500k 219B, thing of beauty for a flashlight.

received my order yesterday

thanks!

Got my order yesterday too, thanks Clemence, and directly did my first mod with the 219B V1 SW40 R9080. So now I have both the sw40 and sw45 in a Jaxman E2L triple host, I can compare them directly.

While the 4500K version feels more special because of the unusual rosy tint without yellow, and great colour contrasts of course, this 4000K version clearly has more yellow with the red so that the tint is more balanced and natural. I like it more, also because I prefer a bit warmer, but the natural appearance also makes it somewhat more boring.

Same here, I’m not a fan of rosy tint either. Prefer anything (commonly) natural. My favourite LED so far is the 5700K 144AM R9050 for general uses or the 5000K E21A R9080 for my kitchen lights. The Yuji you sent me also excellent if only they can output more (with less heat).
Used to like 4000K 219C R9050 for outdoor but now 3500K 219C R9050 works best for me.
