GEARBEST CRAPPY WARRANTY SERVICE FOR SKYRC MC3000

We all remeber Wall buys and Dino direct we banned them why do we continue to keep gearbest with all these negative reports? I have only made 4 small orders and my son’s is the 5 thrall of them crappy in terms of delivery times or customer service ,the only one o had ws when o went through paypal and filed a dispute and I’ll be if my Ganzo didn’t show up in 2 weeks after 21/2 months of waiting and emailing with may asking me to check my pill local post office.

That’s some involved procedure! Would never have figured that out in a million years. Thanks a million.

(The pop up spans the entire monitor width. Can’t figure out to make it in your format.)

Thanks a lot Racoon City for the detective work, that’s pretty complicated. Now if Mr. Admin could tell us who abusively pressed the mark as spam button…

Try changing the resolution of your monitor. :)

And if you're feeling particularly courageous, switch orientation from landscape to portrait. :O

I have a programming idea for Mr. Admin.

Take out the “Mark as SPAM” button for any post with more than 10 replies and/or for any user with more than 100 posts, since spammers will almost always be starting new threads with a low post count, and at some point it’s a real discussion.

Hi guys, I prefer not to mention names, but please read over this information about proper use of the spam button:

Hello Mr. Admin. Thank you again for retrieving my post. The cowardly imbeciles who deleted it, proves another example of how those back-stabbing shills will do anything to protect their 8% commissions while profiting through the misfortunes of others. Id recommend permanently banning them to help clean the poop stains from the forum. :Sp As an aside, I think the banned sociopathic troll has also returned with a new account and should be deleted.

There was some good truthful information to share in that post, and it also helped get a lot of people up to speed to help prevent them from throwing away their hard earned money.

Just as promised (for those who missed out due to the ignorance and unscrupulous greed of others), here’s my repost:

Summation:
An unproven, overpriced, problematic charger, IMO in need of a great deal more development, similar to a Swiss army knife, that does everything, but not any one thing particularly well, touted by the most sociopathic troll to have ever stalked BLF, now permanently banned from BLF for being a repeated sociopath, yet shilling along at the overzealous Nazi site with other unscrupulous brethren, sold by a knifing bunch of proven thieves, now trying to back pedal before even more members stop buying from them, while being defended by another repeat shill who many are getting sick and tired of, where we might all agree that a new phrase has been coined to most accurately describe GB, and they have already earned an “AVOID” rating with BLF for pissing off the admin and dozens of others!

@chewy78 - hang in there and keep us all posted on your communications with GB. Feel free to copy/paste your conversations with them here because we are all concerned that they are trying to rip you off. Also, please IMMEDIATELY start your PayPal dispute process NOW and escalate the claim as soon as possible. While not my preferred vendor, GB has tried to rip me off several times. The moment they try to steal my money, I immediately file my PayPal claim, escalate my PayPal claim as soon as possible and get 100% of my money back 100% of the time. Also, NEVER EVER cancel your PayPal dispute until the dispute has been settled to 100% of your satisfaction. GB will use every possible tactic and lie while asking you to cancel your dispute. They will probably even have some blithering idiot who will call themselves a “charger expert”, who will then proceed to ask you some of the stupidest unrelated questions a bipedal organism could ever ask a thinking person. You will waste many, many days repeating yourself and asking what is happening with your order while they ignore you or try to run out the clock so your PP dispute expires before they can refund your money. There is no grey area here, only your prompt refund while ignoring the shills who might tell you otherwise. We need to keep this out in the open and stamp out anyone who might prevent justice from being served. If you find satisfaction, you can always cancel your PP dispute. I can launch a scud missile attack on their shabby GB shack if necessary, and drive the dishonest cretins back into the sea… which they are already familiar with from great experience!

I hate to disagree with you in that regard because you’re 100% right, but also remember GB is one of the cheapest places to buy our lights at, some of them are not available at BG or other shop at accessible prices. This forum is mostly about budget and that means having to deal with some problems from time to time, specially if the seller are chinese.

What we can do and are doing already, is to publicly let people know to avoid GB. Banning them completely won’t keep people from buying there.

screnn was blank when i tried to use it. its pretty much a door stop now. total waste of money. i have a thread about too WITH PICTURES over on CPF.

its already at the claim dispute. they offered a 12 dollar refund. of course i did not settle for that.

paypal is curently reviewing this case and will respond to me by feb 3

Its good to hear that your PP claim is underway. If you dont find satisfaction, dont be afraid to call PP and state your case with a supervisor. I have never lost a PP claim, but it can be a time consuming multi-layered process.

As you can see, its not just the resellers you have to watch out for in these types of situations. There are many lowlife shills lurking on BLF, who will mark your posts as spam to make them disappear in order to keep others from learning the truth about their dishonest ways. Since we cant shoot them yet, the admin is always there to administer corrective action if necessary.

Just a tip, try to submit as much evidence as possible to paypal, even videos if possible. Their way of resolving refund request is mostly based on visual evidence. I did this with my defective opus charger and they refunded the whole order (almost $50), not just the cost of the charger.

I would agree with a paypal claim as long as you provide as much info as possible 95% of the time paypal will back the buyer, Far to many bad sellers try and get you to close a claim knowing once closed you have lost your money by going through the process straight away it still gives genuine sellers time to sort any problem out to your satisfaction, Now in this case i know nothing about the seller but if there an honest genuine seller they shouldn’t try to get you to close the case without it been resolved first, If they do i would escalate the claim asap normally once escalated its sorted out within 24 hours the annoying thing is it can take weeks to get your money back, i’ve put in around 40 claims with ebay/paypal and won i think 37 which sounds a lot of claims but that’s out of just over 1550 transactions so not so many really lol hope you get it sorted

if you are left with the charger after settlement its time for an autopsy!might be fixable but at least there is nothing to loose to tear it down and post lots of pics.
if it were mine thats what i would do.

Anyone know the eventual outcome of this case? It just…….died

Here is a graphic example of why I’m very skeptical of SkyRC products. They seem to lack in design skills.
Here is an Authentic SkyRC B6 Mini. You can see the USB port. Notice that the PC board holding the USB port is somewhat of a peninsula (or finger) sticking out wit the USB port at the end. What happens is that it takes VERY little pressure while inserting and removing the USB plug to cause this fragile part of the PC board to flex slightly each time you connect or disconnect the USB cable. In very short order, the solder connections cracked because the board flexes, leaving the USB port inoperative.

Now I have to reflow the USB port back on…or replace it. Good thing I have an SMD rework station.

It’s this kind of dumb engineering (or lack of) that give me very little confidence in SkyRC products. That combined with no USA based place to get warranty service. Not to mention all the reports of MC3000 problems here on this forum.

The points marked in red are the fragile points that break easily as the board flexes. There really is no excuse for this kind of design foopahs.
It doesn’t take an engineer to see that putting the USB port on a flexible part of the PC board like this is inexcusable.

I consider anything bought from a chinese website to be cash and carry (after receiving, PayPal “warrants” the shipping). If you assume no warranty and spend accordingly you won’t be disappointed. If you get warranty service its a bonus, but spend assuming you won’t
