Is there any chance of GearBest complying with international and USPS regulations regarding shipment of lithium-ion batteries? Last month, GearBest shipped me eight Panasonic 18650 cells inside a flimsy envelope with absolutely no protective padding around the cells. There was no warning label on the package or any protection for the cells as required. On the Customs declaration form, GearBest listed the contents as “1 power source,” not eight 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion cells. I’m tempted to order more lithium-ion cells from GearBest just to have USPS postal inspectors examine the unopened package.

I believe these are the only “quality brand” (no offense to any other brand in your shop) 18350 batteries available? also found “BestFire ” but the reviews on those are fairly mixed across the web. I understand that this form factor may not be the most popular on a global scale but I am confident some of us here would want to build a S2+ shorty or similar EDC light.

I personally do not own any 18350 batteries yet.

i just did a bunch of impulse buying. i had $ 122.00 worth of stuff in my cart that i saw in this thread, and was about to buy. then gearbest said the flash sale was over and raised the prices on me. so i deleted all the items, i did not need them anyway, and i’m only buying $10.00 worth now.

yes, but some times the cart just says “flash sale over” but if you delete the item and put it back in it works again (lower price). the prices on GB generally don’t always line up. price on search results, on item page and in cart are not necessarily the same (at the same point in time).

search results typically show the “standard price”, which is higher. I guess lot of people then don’t click through, but on the item page or in the cart the prices might be lower.
