Received my Lumintop Tool Ti from the recent sale. I had ordered the Nichia version. The box that arrived is marked both CREE and Nichia. The tint looks more cool white and nothing like my Tool Copper Nichia. So looks like the Tool Ti I received is the XP-G2 version and not Nichia

The worst part is that Gearbest offered me $10 in my “Gearbest wallet” as compensation and $1 off a future order. Purely insulting and in direct violation of their own published policy which calls for a full return or replacement. Just insulting.
I opened a PayPal claim because I’m not going to deal with a company like that. It’s starting to seem like they shipped everyone the wrong product and are just making everything worse with terrible customer service and lack of damage control or apologies.
Today I have received mine also, I have an other nicha AAA light and comparing them Tool Ti is whiter. My box has large cree on top, Nichia on side label.
Looking at with magnifier to both of my lights, they seem to be equal in appearance.
may be Nichia with slighly different tint.
Well that isn’t confidence inspiring.

I too received wrong LED (got Nichia instead Cree) and they GB offered $5USD GB wallet, here i am foolish enough to accept bc i thought mistake happen and this is the first case they stuff-up. Sound like a few stuff-up with Tool-Ti, i blame it on Lumintop for packaging (if they don’t care why should i care?) hence no more interest with Lumintop. Initially plan get Tool then Prince but now??
After 24hrs guess have to do paypal claim…sick of deal with BS from CS.

I received two lumintop tool ti, one nichia and one cree, but they cleary mixed-up the stickers on each box there is a nichia and a cree sticker, which obviously led to the shipping mistakes.
As i ordered one of each, i got my order right.
Very happy about it, price was fantastic. 
Such a simple and understandable mistake, all they had to do was apologize and resolve the issue.
Their latest communication is to try to hold me responsible for shipping costs to return the item to china. Look at this scare tactic to get me to accept a $10 credit:
“Before making any decision, please consult the local post office to know the price of returning the item and inform us about it.”
They want me to be responsible for their mistake and their failure to deliver the item ordered.
I’ve always vouched for Gearbest, 30+ orders with no issues. They made a simple mistake, all they had to do was make it right. Instead, this.
