1. I definitely like it, but as with anything… there are things I would change or customize. I’m not a big fan of mixing gold & silver metal colors. And the flame pattern doesn’t drive me wild, but is fine. But the overall design with it’s compact clicky, room for a trit vial, inner copper tube, and temperature regulation are all very nice. And… I’m a sucker for small things that are still functional.

2. Love the stainless. Holds up well and looks nice.

3. I usually don’t get stainless lights because of the additional price they carry. Flashlight technology is changing so fast that in my humble opinion, a light either needs to be relatively inexpensive (that is, replaceable) or easily upgradeable.

I like Torpedo 007, never had SS light, because SS is heavier than aluminum.

It has never been. Still, BLF 348. After all, beautiful.

Why you don’t choose a Stainless Steel Flashlight?
Weight, heat sinking, price, and slippery grip. Keychain sizes good choice, as there will be no ugly wear aluminum anodizing.

I love the tritium tail! The 4 slots of a lanyard on the bottom are nice. I don’t like the flames on the brass ring, but I can live with that.

I also like the modes. Moonlight to very bright. I would carry this every day.

How do you love Stainless Steel Flashlight?

I like the use of stainless steel. It looks more durable than an anodized aluminium body and probably make scratches much less noticeable. The anodized aluminium bodies look bad after caring them every day and getting scratches on them.

Why you don’t choose a Stainless Steel Flashlight?

I haven’t bought one yet, but I would for sure.

I choose a stainless steel but only for small form factor light such as AA or AAA.
never pick stainless steel for flashlight which can generate lot of heat.

Day one,

I like it. Flame will look better with patina (age and wear).

I have several SS lights and the attraction is the bare metal feel without oxidization, and cheaper than Ti.

Drawback of SS lights is there not many that knurling for grip. Most are smooth, too smooth.

1) The Torpedo is beautiful!! That picture you have in the OP is awesome!
2) I like stainless steel for its durability.
3) I do not own any stainless steel flashlights because stainless steel is not a very good conductor of heat and silver is not a very good radiator of heat.

2. Tough and scratch resistant + easy to make shine again with a buffing wheel
