I really want to build a pretty small, (over ready 35 size) single XPL-Hi and H17fx 18350 light for EDC. I also happen to hate the look of the 18350 Convoy S2+ and other lights that are super tube-like. Does anyone know where I could get a good-looking light that could act as a host for this setup? It doesn’t have to strictly be a host, but I need to be able to install the setup mentioned above.
I used an EagleEye X3R, removed the original driver, and used a Convoy 18350 tube. The 17mm driver fits well, long spring is required.
Then you can glue the rubber cover originally used for charging.
